The
Other Man
I can’t help but to think about my life as it was,
before I was married. Not that I don’t truly enjoy my
spouse, because I do. Its just the thought of complete
freedom intrigues me. I remember way back when, how easy
it was to go this way or that. Never having to check in
with anyone. If I didn’t want to go home, I wouldn’t. If
I wanted to stay out all night and party I did! If I
wanted to sleep with someone at the drop of a hat, I
did.
But now its different. I don’t want to
worry hubby so I try not to stay out too late. I also
always call to check in! Its really just a courtesy
thing. I know times have changed and it is completely
different now. But let me say it one more time, I am not
knocking marriage. I do love it!! And to tell you the
truth, I’ve got it made. I’ve got a man who lets me
explore other men and women. The only rules we have is
that any adventure has to be discussed before hand and I
have to use caution! Knowing the rules, I did exactly
that.
I told hubby there was this guy (well
call him Mr. X) I have always been attracted to. We have
known Mr. X for over a year and he seems really cool. He
is single so I didn’t have to worry about a jealous
wife, thank goodness!!! LOL…So I discussed my plans with
my husband and he seemed okay with it. I didn’t press
the issue any further as I did not want to seem to
anxious. So instead I waited and waited until one day
hubby comes home and he says "I’ve got a surprise for
you!" I thought...hmm and I looked down and in his hand
and there sat a key. I just looked at him with a
questioned look on my face. I had no idea what the key
was for...lol but hubby quickly explained that key was
my ticket.
